This week's painting is inspired by my favorite board game Clue. It was the only board game I really wanted to play ... well I did like monopoly but it was not as fun as clue. Did you ever play? Let me know in the comments. I am also making over a frame for this one and I show you my process of how I add a touch of gold and some old world charm to a boring brown frame. This one is to be continued because I just couldn't get it all done in one week. Tune in next week for Part 2 of Mrs. Peacock did it in the Library with the Knife.

Paint with Me Almost Two Hours of Focused Creative Time
This painting series started with a video creating the reference image, preparing the canvas, transferring the image onto the canvas and last weeks video was a real time paint with me working on the background. This week we are working on the subject and everything else. Next week I will be starting on the 2nd layer which will be oil paints. When I watch a painter at work I find so much value in the observation from the way they hold the brush to the distance from the canvas they stand, how they mix their paint to the slow methodical brush strokes to the frantic and expressive ones. It all teaches me of how to bring more awareness into my practice and while I may not want to adopt everything I intuitively know what is meant for me will infuse me with new inspiration and depth of growth. So that is why I have made this series so that if you are like me and get great value from observation then you are going to love this nearly two hour long paint along with me. If you're not a painter then grab your study books or work or maybe craft along with me. I have picked the most relaxing music for you to enjoy. So get cozy and come along for a relaxing and chill session. If you have any questions I would love to hear from you in the comments. Also let me know what you're doing while watching. I am so curious to know even if it is just relaxing. Enjoy the Show. much love Jan

How I Start A Painting-Beginner Friendly | Reference Image | Canvas Prep | Image Transfer
Nobody likes that feeling of staring at a blank canvas and wondering what to paint. Last year I created my painting project backwards beauty which are nostalgic portraits of women. I used AI to get the ideas out of my head and materialize in real life. It was scary at first but once I embraced the unknown and just dove in with curiosity I had a blast and now I have an abundance of ideas of what to paint. Today I want to bring you behind the scenes to show you my process for starting a new painting. I will be sharing my process for creating AI Reference art and how I alter it take it to that not level image that I can’t wait to paint. After that I will share with what I do to prepare a large wooden canvas board for painting. Then I going to share with you my preferred way of transferring the image onto the board.
